Loimer and his father started with about 37 acres and have built up the estate to a total of about 148 acres today. Shortly after taking over from his father, Loimer also had the chance to purchase a massive, labyrinthine cellar complex in the Kamptal countryside that was built in the 19th century by one of the largest wine families in the region.
